Hey everyone it’s my turn to write the blog so here goes.... its day two in our epic journey from land end and has it been fun. We finally stopped in Cirencester at 00:30 to get some much needed rest after a hard day driving. The tuk tuk as been outperforming the support vehicle as it’s always seems to be ahead of us thanks to Sanjay's driving.
Today we departed from Circncester at 08:30 with Kelham at the wheel of the tuktuk and Sanj driving the support vehicle. Our aim was to reach Coventry before midday which we succeeded and celebrated by going to Sanjay’s new favourite hang out Mac D's.
Kelham is currently still driving the tuktuk and is averaging record breaking speeds for a TuKTuk and is currently heading towards Nottingham. The support vehicle is right on his tail so if your around in Nottingham in the Hucknall area then come and see us if you can
The sun is still shinning which is a surprise and our publicity band wagon is still rolling as BBC Radio Nottingham and the Evening Post have published an article on our event..... Many Thanks from all of us of for that :-). http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/news/Tuk-tuk-trek-length-country/article-1075222-detail/article.html All is still well however the trailer is still causing us a few issues but we are hoping to get this sorted once we arrive in Nottingham.
I would now describe myself an expert driving the trailer and car and no Sanjay I don’t drive “too fast and close to corners" LOL. I also can’t get Kelham out of the tuktuk ... I guess he's enjoying the drive too much.
Anyways thing are ahead of schedule and also going well. Breaking news.... just received a call from the press assioation.... our TukTuk trip could possibly go national! more too follow. Many Thanks, Johnny
