Day 1, 14th June 2009

hello everyone. We arrived in Landsend after driving through the night and taking some poer naps and many short breaks at 10:30. We have registered our Journey in the officialbook and Lands End. We departed from there at 11:44 and immediatly ran into trouble. The trailer we have is causing us some distress at the moment and we are being slowed down by it. in factthe tuktuk is simply out performing the car ! Kelham is driving the tuktuk and is averaging around 30 mph which is much better than expected. Johhny is drivingthe support vehicle as we head upto Bodmin.I am the journalist for now. Kelham has just stopped the tuktuk 20 minutes back because the tuktuk ran out of fuel and stopped on the a30 but was quickly put on reserve. We have now refuelled and are on our way again. We have taken some pics and will post them shortly. The sun is shinning and we are all doing well.Johnny has now mastered driving the trailer and car (driving too fast and close to corners ) which is great. Just cant get kel out of the tuktuk cos i want a go. We are 14 miles from bodmin.Hmm i can see a Mac D's ... ANy way everything going reasonable well. More soon. Thanks, Sanjay
